There are two main ability types: Manual and Auto. Each card in Gati has either a Manual or an Auto ability.

 | Markat | Grants a speed boost while climbing on walls. | Auto |
 | Vanar | Grants a boost to your jump height. | Auto |
 | Shighr | Grants temporary speed boost for a short duration. | Manual |
 | Kavach | Creates a protective shield that grants immunity from all damage for a short duration. | Manual |
 | Chakr | Launches a spinning, sharp Chakr Blade. It strikes down opponents in its path before dissipating. | Manual |
 | Visphotak | Throws a fire ball. The greater the force, the farther it travels and explodes. Eliminates rivals on contact. | Manual |
 | Kantak | Places a dangerous spike trap on the track. It eliminates any runner that makes contact. | Manual |
 | Vidyut | After a small delay lightening strikes your opponents. | Manual |
 | Baan | Shoots a single, straight arrow. It eliminates the rival it hits. | Manual |
 | Gandak | Creates a shield that absorbs damage and grants a temporary speed boost upon being hit. | Manual |
