The color defines the Rarity of the card. It tells us how rare or common a card is in Virbhumi. Each card is categorised into one of the 5 Rarities.

Kansya
Rajat
Suvarn
Hirak (RAREST)

NOTE: Higher Rarity cards have higher collection power. These in turn give you more rewards.
